osu, has been one of the few privileged towns to couch a name for itself.
starting from a variety of businesses,
osu auguably, has the most popular street in the city, the oxford street.
the osu castle, located on the marine drive way, has been the seat of government for a number of years.
adding to the number is the asomdwee park, which serves as a presidential mausoleum for the nation.
the people here are mostly ga's. and the mother tougue is ga.

noted for its hospitality and the regard for traditions and customs, osu has become an international brand.
one most important thing that has identified the ga state over the years is their traditional festival, 'homowo'.
very eighth month of the year, comes homowo in grand style.
the aim, hoots at hunger from an age long tradition.
to pave way for the festival, most towns must go silent, as the ga gods need peace at this time.
having gone through the main traditional houses to perform the rites, the people here are set for this years celebrations

the usual spinkling of the traditional food, kpokpoi, definately will feature.
the festival is expected to promote peaceful co- existence between indigenes of the area.

it will also celebrate the metal deity, noted for her contribution to successes chopped over the years.
the gallant men and fallen heros of the land will not be left out.
the celebrations which is slated for tuesday, august 20, 2013, would be climax with a carnival and durbar of chiefs.
indeed, traditional leaders say they have food in abandance, to hoot at hunger this year.
