kaa kwabla adjetey, who struggles daily to access one of life's
essentials.

7:30am, kaa kwabla adjetey has just
woken up.

up... praying.
she
has spent all her life in teshie corner stone, a community dried out from lack
of water supply.
at 90,
she still likes to do things on her own.
when
receptacles are empty, she makes her way to the tap to see if by some stroke of
luck, water could be flowing.
SND UP
she's
become used to falling and tripping.
fortunately, her great grand son, ebernezer adjetey pays her a visit.
she
quickly pleads with him to help her out with a gallon of water, which sells at a very exorbitant price.

after
several minutes, he returns with a half gallon of water.
painstakingly
she journeys to the communal bath house.

she
sometimes goes without a shower or bath for days.

to potable water is a basic human right.
the
world water council states that, water should be accessible and affordable to
everyone, yet many across the country struggle to get access.

even rely on poor sources.
