abandoned on the streets of nungua some nineteen years ago, growing up in an orphanage  was all society could offer emmanuel boateng.

although now learning a trade, emmanuel's dreams of becoming a footballer still lingers.

emmanuel boateng was only two years old when he was adopted by a guardian.

before then, he lived on the streets of nungua.

maltreatment from his new found guardian sent him running at age 8.

he is yet to locate the good samaritan who dropped him off at the orphanage.

now 21, emmanuel boateng has always nursed ambitions to play football.

he prioritises soccer training though now learning a trade.

at a time when he believed hopes of meeting a player of the senior national team were dashed, emmanuel and his mates were pleasantly surprised.
